  1. Remove the lids and spray paint them gold.
  2. Fill the Mason jar with desired food gift.
  3. 3 different ways to adorn the Mason jar with holiday cheer:
  4. Cut a 2-1/2" wide piece of plaid fabric, long enough to tie around the Mason jar vertically. Add a bow to the top, knot in place and cut off any excess. Spray paint the snowflake ornament gold, add a holiday message to a simple banner by painting onto cardstock with a detail brush. Glue the banner to the snowflake and hang from the bow at the top of the jar.
  5. Wrap a piece of plaid fabric horizontally around the center of the jar. Secure in place with a piece of twine wrapped around the fabric and knotted in place. Add bells, greenery, or other holiday elements to add interest. Make a tag by cutting out cardstock and painting a holiday message with a detail brush. Adhere the tag to the center of the fabric band.
  6. Add a piece of lace and twine under the cap before screwing it down onto the jar. Use a dab of glue to secure the lace and twine to the underside of the cap. Once screwed down in place add a wood disk at the middle of the jar by gluing it to the lace. Cut off any excess lace that hangs down. Paint a holiday message onto the disk and embellish with greenery, twine or any other holiday elements.
